I spend almost every Friday with an awesome group of 20&30-something singles from my church - TGIF! I'm also a big football fan, especially The NE Patriots and the Carolina Gamecocks. Want to know anything else, just ask!

I was looking at your profile and noticed that you are a big football fan. Have you ever seen the Christian movie called, "Facing the Giants?" It is such an awesome movie! :)

I think that you'll find the message of the movie as a blessing in your life--not just because it's all about football. ;)

My favorite part in the entire movie is this one clip that this Christian guy says to the head coach. I can't remember it word for word, but it said something like...

"There was a drought in the land. There were two farmers who were hurting because of the drought and both started praying for rain. They both prayed, but one also went out and started to prepare his fields for the rain when it came. Which one of those two do you think was trusting God for the rain to come?"

Of course the head coach answered the one that actually went out to prepare for it. :) I thought that this would be encouraging to you and the other women on this site since that's kind of what Candice has been promoting in her book (well, so I've heard....I haven't actually read it yet because it's still on its way here in the mail, lol). What I mean is intentionality. Being intentional while we're still single women. :) Living life in expectancy, anticipating with expectation that God is going to move in our lives and bring those wonderful Christian husbands one day.

I instantly thought of that movie when I read your profile because it has football in it. But I also knew that you'd be blessed to hear it's message since you're waiting for "Mr. Right" too. :)
