I love reading Dr. Mohler's blogs. His latest one on http://albertmohler.com/ is about co-habitation in America. Unfortunately, co-habitation is seen by many, including Christians, as inevitable among couples. We should strongly encourage our fellow Christian singles to not live together and to not engage in any type of sexual behavior before marriage. Too often we shy away from this topic. But we should rely on God to give us the strength, courage and wisdom to address this issue with other singles. I can't tell you how many couples I know who lived together before marriage (including two of my best friends from college). I also can't tell you how many Christians I know who slept together before marriage. In fact, I am hard-pressed to name more than one or two people (other than myself) who saved or are saving themselves for marriage. I hope each of you has a wonderful weekend! Reply »

Sarahjane, Melissa, Karen and Alicia - excellent comments by all of you. I think one of the reasons that Candice wrote her book is to encourage women that want to get married. It isn't wrong to want to get married. It isn't wrong to have needs. This article implies this. While I agree that women shouldn't be desperate about their desire for marriage, it is okay to say you want to get it married, it is okay to desire marriage, it is okay to have needs!!!!! May God bless all of you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Reply »

Melissa, You never let us know what happened. Did you get to meet either of these guys? Did you go to your friends' churches? I am hoping you have great news for us!! Reply »
