I still live in the same town as my family, for which I am very grateful. I'm driving an hour to go to school from home, so graduation will be more of a relief for me than it sounds like for you (and I can see why it would be hard for you). And I completely understand being overrun with deadlines. I'm in a May term class, which means three weeks to get a semester's worth of work done, while also doing an externship. But, God's working it all out nicely. Just a day at a time.
So, you think you may be staying where you are? Have you seen your friends since you left? I went to visit my undergrad school a month or so ago. I didn't realize how much we as people change in such a short time. But, it kind of reassured me. It was like God was saying, "I have something else for you now." And I know it's good, even though I miss the friends I had. I went from a Christian group at a small private school to a public school as a communter. It's made it harder to make new friends too, but God's working that out. I've felt lonely over the past few months, but I think He's letting me grow closer to Him for a while. It sounds like you may be at a good college to make new relationships and have Christian fellowship, though?
I'm like you about a husband. I want a Godly one, but I'm a little busy right now. The times I notice I want one is when I'm around young married couples, I think. Which may mean I need to rethink my motives, haha. No, I know God's put the desire in my heart, as a woman, so I'm just praying for His will and trying to pursue relationships, both Godly friendships and keeping myself open to a Godly man.
I just realized your profile says you're in Louisville. I'm in KY, too. I'm a little partial, but if you have to be away from friends, I'd think Kentucky would be the place to go : ) (I'm a country girl who loves the woods and hills at heart). I hear Savannah's beautiful, too.

Hey Leah! The Lord's just showed me this site, so I'm a little new and looking for friends. Sounds like we have a little in common. I have a B.A. in Psychology and will graduate in Dec (like you) with an M.A. in Speech Pathology (not counseling, but it has a little cognitive psychology in it :) )
Anyway, thought I'd say hi. I haven't read Candace's book yet, but am excited about it. Just did a Bible study on John Piper's "Don't Waster Your Life." It was really neat. I loved Pride and Prejudice, and I really enjoy a lot of the same music.
And I assume you're praying for a Godly husband too, haha.
Well, I got to go, but hello and God bless, even if we never talk!
