I love the song!! I'm sorry its been a hard season for you. One of the things I cling to and remember in hard times and times when it looks like I'll never marry is the story of Abraham. How God promised him he would be a father of many nations, but yet he had no children but Abraham didn't let that stop him and held the promise of God that he would be the father of many nations despite his age and the deadness of Sarahs womb. God is the God of impossiblities he parted the read seas, had a virigin give birth, walked on water, so I think he can bring two people together! I too am in a depths of sad emotions but I have never been so happy and so excited and comforted in God! He truely is amazing! Reply »

I understand that could be a very hard situation to be in. I know for me a few weeks after my fiance broke up with me my two best friends began dating and I became a 3rd wheel alolt. I think the problem is people are put into two categories, married and single but its nots about the categories its just season. We'll all be married one day and have screaming babies to look afterward, those of us who get married later get to be single and carefree a little longer!! I don't know what can be done about the friends problem and the awkardness that sometimes comes in groups. Maybe we all just need to get outside the box.I know for me when it comes to freinds I just look for people who need one instead of thinking about how I need one. Doing this sometimes my friends are alot younger and sometimes its a mother with a busy husband and our friendship consists of my helping her around the house and sometimes its a widow who needs out of the house. I don't really know I guess as we grow older and the single groups shrink we just have to one remember who our best friend is and two reach out to others in need. Reply »

This time and season in my life right now has not been the easiest ever. So I have an encouragement list. Its a list of things I do when I am discourage. I have different things on the list for different things. One of the things on the list when I am down about staying my course and being a godly woman. When those times come I love to listen to the song by Wayne Watson titled Somewhere in the world. Its a song about a Daddy praying for his sons wife. He is praying for her to hold to Jesus because he knows that oneday in this life his little boy is going to need a godly wife. Listening to this song reminds me that somewhere out there is a man of God that needs a godly wife and if I choose to stay near to God I can be the answer to his parents prayers for his life. Here our the lyrics: Somewhere in the world By Wayne Watson Somewhere in the world today A little girl will go out ot play All dressed up in mama’s clothes At least the way that I suppose it goes Somewhere in the world tonight Before she reaches to turn out the light She’ll be prayin’ from a tender heart A simple prayer that’s a work of art And I don’t even know her name But I’m prayin’ for her just the same That the Lord will write His name upon her heart Cause somewhere in the course of this life A little boy will need a godly wife So hold on to Jesus, baby, whereever you are Somewhere in the world out there That little girl’s learnin’ how to care She’s pickin’ up her mamas charms Or maybe, swigin’ around in her daddy’s arms Somewhere in the world to be Through the future’s not real clear to me Theirs could be a tender love Grounded in eternal love above I love thinking of someone praying for me to hold to Jesus and it encourages me to do so. So does anyone else have anything they do when they need encouragement?? I thought it might just be an awesome thing to share bits of ways to encourage oursleves! Reply »
