Jac's Profile

Jac (christianachild)
Hometown:
Kentucky
Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
I love the Lord with all my heart and just want to do what He wants me to. BUT I'm so indesicive that I have a hard time determining what that is, haha. I know that He leads me, though, as long as I'm seeking Him. I live on a small farm with horses, dogs, and cats. I'm in graduate school trying to become a speech therapist.
Favorite Music:
I listen to Christian music and really like Hawk Nelson, Jimmy Needham, and the like. But I also like some of the older stuff like Clay Cross. My favorite sound is bluegrass (Kentucky girl at heart :) )
Favorite Movies:
Ever After, IQ, Laws of Attraction, and many Jackie Chan movies.
Favorite Books:
So many! I love to read. Used to be Christian fiction, but God's brought me to a lot of nonfiction over the past few years. Philip Yancy is a favorite, as well as Ravi Zacharaus and C.S. Lewis. I also enjoyed Making Peace with Your Thighs, by Dr. Linda Mintle (I think).

Hey! Thanks for commenting! It's always good to find new friends with similar interests and passions. Congrats on your upcoming graduation! I say "upcoming," but lately I've felt that mine is "impending." You know, as in "impending doom"? I just find myself getting overrun lately with school deadlines, work drama, and loneliness. I left every close friendship to move here three years ago...and now that I'm almost done with my degree, I feel God's plan for me may be to stay here even longer. I dunno--"impending" just seems more like the descriptor I feel. Anyway, I am praying for a husband, obviously...but it's usually way on the back burner. I just found out about this site through an online webzine I read from time to time. I have also yet to read the book, but the president of my seminary recommended it...so it's probably great! Again, thanks for commenting. I'd love to chat more.
