Hey Emma!
I am a nurse from Charlotte, NC, and I was home-schooled too! :) I work in a neonatal progressive nursery (a step-down from NICU). I have always thought that when I get tired of pediatrics I would like to try my hand in the OR.
Just thought we had some interesting similarities... :)

Ooo, that book sounds good. Let me know how you like it.
I wish I had more time to read but school eats up all of my time. So when I grab a minute, I'm usually reading something Christ-centered. The last book I read was "Kiss the girls and make them cry" by Lisa Bevere. Before that it was "Jesus, One and Only" by Beth Moore. I have C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity" sitting in a pile by my desk, begging to be read.

Hmm...you were probably thinking of Matthew 18:19 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."
Oh, God is so awesome. This just reminds me of how much we are created for relationship -- both with Him and with one another. Let us never stop praying for one another.

shoot 'em up and undertow.... clive was okay, but it was all a little too campy to me. i'm really not a big paul giamatti fan anyway, ya know? undertow had jamie bell and dermot mulroney (dvr'd it off of ifc). he was pretty good, but the movie as a whole i wouldn't pay to see. a nice indie flick if you don't have anything better to do. i'm glad things went well! i'm reading the "jane austen addict book" which is okay, but i'm not all that impressed just something else we'll have to "re-do" oh, i haven't asked lately but how is jack?

Thanks, Emma. I hope so, too. As for NC, my husband's family lives in Washington, near Greenville. I love the outer banks and Newbern.

Are you familiar with Sarah Clarkson's work? (http://itinerantidealist.wordpress.com/) From your profile, you sound like kindred spirits!
