About Me:: I grew up in Houston, went to college, and came back to fall in love with a city I'd kind of written off. I teach 10th grade English and I'd love to do missions abroad as soon as the Lord allows me.

Favorite Music:: You'd pretty much have to put my iPod on shuffle to even catch a glimpse.

Favorite Movies:: I love musicals, anything girly, and pretty much anything with Will Ferrell.

Favorite Books:: The Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter, My Sister's Keeper, Redeeming Love (!!!), and junk chick-lit books.

Favorite Authors:: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edgar Allen Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Jodi Picoult, etc. What can I say? I'm an English teacher!

Even though the burbs have their perks, the city is so full of life. I lived in Chicago for a year and loved that everything is at your fingertips. That's crazy that you moved from out here to downtown but work in New Caney! That's cool! I live in Sherwood Trails--it's doing me fine. I actually met Tammy on this site and we have been hanging out lately! We should all get together. What church do you go to?
