Maybe it's discussed in Candace's book (I haven't read it yet), but I have a hard time balancing longing for a husband, not getting my hopes up, and yet having a "back-up plan." It's like I'm told to hope for a husband, but in this day and age (where one day I'll have to take care of myself on my own if I don't get married), and yet be prepared for being single. I'm becoming more involved in church, and praying more boldly for a husband, but as a graduate student preparing to enter a career...I just sometimes wonder how I'm supposed to feel about it all yet live practically. If that makes any sense, haha. Reply »
